Optaros Executive Events - “Unleashing the power of Web 2.0 and Open Source”

While I’m in Switzerland this week I’m going to be speaking at two Optaros Executive Events on the subject of “Unleashing the power of Web 2.0 and Open Source for your customers“:

The internet is becoming more and more critical to enterprises. According to Google by 40% of all business transactions will be executed over the web by 2010. The continuous evolution of the internet changes the way how companies connect with their customers and partners, how information are transmitted and how services are provided. More and more companies use direct channels to communicate with their target groups replacing traditional advertisement. And many product and service providers have recognized that internet based self service means not just more work for customers, but also a stronger relationship, more loyalty and new possibilities to interact.

In our Executive Seminar we will highlight the changes and show what they mean for enterprises using real examples. We will discuss on how companies can profit from the new technical possibilities and what it means to implement „self service“ and „direct customer engagement“ solutions and how open source, open standards and innovative agile implementation approaches are key aspects of next generation internet projects, delivered in 30% of the time and at 20% of the costs of what we were used only a few years ago.
