It&#039;s a challenge because projects start with code and build up a programmer-friendly structure of management (IRC for example).  It could definitely be improved.

But I also don&#039;t think that it&#039;s an either / or proposition.  Right now, there are hundreds, if not thousands of coders that get paid to work on open-source.  Probably many many fewer designers.  Why not add more to the mix?</description>
